Minturn Meetings

Share

Minturn residents and stakeholders are invited to join us for an upcoming
workshop on March 24th and 25th focused on shaping outdoor recreation development in
Minturn. This process is designed to prioritize community needs and ensure that future
developments reflect and protect the qualities that make Minturn unique. We hope to
incorporate diverse community ideas and perspectives, and we would love to include yours.
These events are hosted in partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder’s Masters of the
Environment program, the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, and Colorado State
University’s Office of Engagement and Extension. The program is designed to help communities
develop strategies and a community action plan to revitalize their Main Streets through outdoor
recreation. The priorities identified through these workshops will directly inform this plan,
intended to guide outdoor recreation development in Minturn for the next 3-5 years. These will
be actionable steps formed by shared priorities and grounded in community values.
We hope you will be able to join us and share your perspective. Please don’t hesitate to reach
out to Cindy Krieg at events@minturn.org (or 970-445-2415) with any questions about the
process.
